- We are an educational exchange program, whose basic mission is to foster educational, cultural exchange.
- We are a small organization that offers personalized service to students, families and schools.

We provide continuous, local support to our students, their host
families and their schools throughout the exchange year.
- We ensure that our foreign students have the necessary English proficiency to have a good school year.
- We choose students who are outgoing, flexible, active, well-rounded, who have a high EQ (emotional intelligence quotient) Simply put: great kids!
- iE meets personally with every student and their parents during the application and selection process
- Each student attends an extended week-end intensive pre-departure orientation seminar in their home country where they are thoroughly prepared on how to have a successful exchange experience

All participating students must pass the Secondary Level English Proficiency Test (SLEP).

Students are required by iE to maintain passing grades in all subjects. Many iE students make top honors in their host schools.

iE has local community coordinators who work closely with the school, host families and exchange students throughout the exchange year to ensure a positive experience for everyone.

Community Coordinators make a minimum of one personal contact each month with each of their assigned students.

Community Coordinators make at least one contact per marking period with the school to check on student progress.

iE maintains continuous contact with the student’s natural parents throughout the school year, keeping them informed of their child’s progress.

iE maintains a 24-hour toll free hotline, available to students, host families and the school, and the student’s parents. There is always a live person available to help with emergencies.

All students carry full health and accident insurance.
